Antique Franz Schwarzer Zither. 41 String. Serial No. 5604. I am going to say this needs TLC but overall is in decent shape considering the age. I counted 41 strings but if anyone thinks I did that incorrectly please let me know. There appears to be a hairline crack on the backside which is pretty straight. So I don’t know if that is supposed to be there or if it is from age and humidity perhaps. I am leaning towards the latter. Case is rough but still does the job. What is pictured ...is what you will receive. As is.
