Fabulous RARE CORO DUETTE brooch pin of c1930s. High quality vermeil (similar gold plated), the faces of the Emperor and Empress are made in an early ivorine plastic perhaps Bakelite or similar with Painted faces. Jewels in their crowns and collars are a combination of coral, pearl and turquoise stones. Probably by Adolph Katz was the major designer for Coro from 1924 and was responsible for many wonderful designs.

Condition: Excellent. Fantastic condition with base and stones all complete. The Empress May have had an earring but I do not know because I have only ever seen this piece once before and from memory the Empress May have had an earring. Please note I do not clean costume jewellery.
