Nice looking barn find Fairbanks Morse J4B3 tractor magneto. 4 cylinder with clock-wise CW rotation. This should work for Allis Chalmers tractors including: B C WC WD WF RC and probably others too. It should work on other tractor brands using a flange mounted magneto as well. The armature turns freely. The impulse catches every time and snaps real strong. It could probably use cleaning and oiling to not snap over as hard as it does. I have not had any covers off of it.... The main side cover has a crack on the bottom half that has sealant on it. There is an inch at the very bottom that needs to be resealed since last inch or so doesn’t have sealant on it. It may work fine the way it is as well. Great mag to have as a spare or rebuild for your tractor.
