Cleveland Opera House, A G Hartz, lessee and managerSeason 1894-95: 75+ programs bound into a book. Each program is 8 pages long (4 pieces of paper, printed on both sides) with the first page generally announcing what is coming next week and the second page (verso of first) having the cast list, etc for the current offering.book measures approx 9 ½" x 12" x 1 1/4" thick; paper is a kind of newsprint, so is a bit brittle in places so almost all have some edge wea...r, a few with tears (but nothing huge); front cover missing, back cover detached but present; this is a huge amount of programs with many major 19th Century American Stars in it! A treasure trove! There are some multiples of certain programs.Multiples of Nethersole/Barrymore, Ada Rehan, The Bostonians, The Kendals, Effie Ellsler & Robert Drouet, Julia Marlowe Taber & Robert Taber, Nat C Goodwin(The numbers are for reference: to link up which actors are in which production.
