Original Description:
1880's Cabinet Card Photo of young girl with homemade parasol.  She is also holding a book or Bible, sports a bracelet on her left arm, and is even wearing a tiny ring.  Notice all the fur rugs on the floor?  The photographer's backdrop appears to be a Church.  She is a cute little "waif" who is stylishly dressed.  The photographer is identified on the bottom of the photo.  The name reads:  SPURGEON - COTTAGE ART GALLERY - SALEM, INDIANA."  There... is no writing on the reverse.  The photo measures approximately 6 1/2 inches tall by 4 1/4 inches wide.  Please understand, given the age of this item, you are buying "as is."  Thanks for looking.
