After more than 40 yearsof collecting, the time has come to thin down
on my antique-sewing-machinecollection and ephemera. Please check
for new items each week. They will range from thesuper-rare to the more
common. Happy to combinepostage where practical.
Anear-perfect condition Casige toy sewing machine dating from the early
years ofthe last century.
Amazing howit has survived with near-perfect decals and not a touch of
rust on the nickel-platedparts.
Pre...tty surethis is a Model 13 from the famous German manufacturer, butnot sure as I nolonger have Casige-recognition literature.
The machine operatessmoothly.
It measures7 inches/180mm from left to right x 3 ½ inches/900mm front to
back and is 7 ½ inches/190mmhigh.
Please don’tconfuse this with the poor-quality, commonly found, tin-plate
models from thesame factory. It’s cast-iron machines were built to a much
high standard.
This machine will be posted by a Royal Mail tracked service and will need a
signature on arrival.
