You are bidding on this old Concertina-Accordion-Squeezebox that was purchased from a local Estate Sale along with some other early Items (see other Auctions). It has a tag on it that reads "ERNST BIRNSTOCK BANDONION-u.KONZERTINA-FABRICK CRIMMITSCHAU" (see pictures) and is still in excellent condition with some light surface wear throughout it (no cracks or chips). It plays/sounds great while the bellows are all intact with no holes or damage while the 1 side has some of the felt cover stuck to while I will let High Bidder clean it off properly (see next to last picture for close-up). All of the buttons work with the exception of 2 buttons, on the 1 side (numbers 9 & 14), that will not depress properly (see last picture). Their is nothing loose on the inside while the case has some surface wear throughout it, the handle is partially broke, some whitye paint on t he backside by the hinge and some damage to t he back corner. The latches need a little help in latching while their is no key to lock it and is stamped, with a name, above the handle but I can't quite make it all out. I believe it reads "ECHT VULKAN?IR?" but am not for certain. Very nice Concertina that will make a great addition to any collection or as the perfect Gift.
