Nice vintage men's fedora hat mold/block, nice heavy wood (almost 2 lbs), marked size 6 7/8, and 964.  There is dark staining and a crack which begins on top edge and travels down under the bottom portion. The piece feels very solid and shows no signs of actual breakage, just a lot of use. Would benefit from some wood treatment Please view all photos to get best description.
