Up for auction is a fine antique 200 year old French Clock. It is a striking piece measuring 36" tall with Plinth. The clock measures 26" tall x 13" wide x 4 1/2" deep. The enamel dial measures 9 1/2" wide. It is marked on back in ink with what could be the makers name. The clock is running and striking, I have not 24hr tested it. The clock strikes the hour and strikes every 1/4 hour with increasing chimes. It also has a 31 day calendar and the dial is marked with the minuets. There is... a few nicks to the enamel dial. There is wear to the paint, gold and lacquer. The bubbled glass is original in the door, the lower piece of glass is not original. One of the side pieces of glass has a crack near the bottom. The clock is much more impressive in person. Fresh out of a recent old local estate.
