Antique French Mantel /Portico/Column Clock.Jappy Freres Grande Med Stamp 1855.Picture 2 shows the clock with a green lighter to the bottom right to give an idea to it's size.

This clock has a 8 day movement with single bell strike and the movement is workingThis clock is a restoration project.Nice ...clean ebonized wooden case.Beautiful inlaid decoration around the case.The inlaid wire has come free from the rear barley twist column see pictures.This can be restored.Tiny bit missing to the very top left front corner, see pictures.
The dial has some minor restoration around under the 6 and some hairlines on the dial.
This clock strikes a single bell on the hour and halfThe clock currently strikes in around 5 past the hour and half.This can be fixed by a clockmaker.
Complete with a non original key.

This clock is being sold as a restoration project without returns.0.99p starts it.

Clock height is around 45cm/ 22.5cms across/ 13cms depth.
