Unfortunately with some clocks it is not a matter of unpacking them, putting the pendulum on and away they go, some clocks will need the extra adjustments and setting into beat so please remember this before bidding. Most clocks will be ok and will not need any additional adjustments but please bear in mind this may not be the case. Any clocks returned because of setting up issues or adjustments needed after transit then a fee will be applicable. Some excellent quality bracket clocks please keep your eyes open over the next few months THE CASE This clock is a high quality English vintage congreve rolling ball clock of superb large proportions very rare. This is a high quality English made congreve table clock which is in full working order and has one of the best display workings ever as i am sure you can see in the video above
The clock has a very impressive proportions and is English but it is unsigned, superb high quality with the clock sitting on a solid very heavy marble base. The clock is constructed from solid brass very thick with an amazing ormolu finish which is in excellent condition. The clock sits elegantly under its original brass & glass display case and displays beautifully as i'm sure you can see The clock has a large ball foot to each corner with a adjustable screw thread to help with levelling up the bed of the table so that the ball will continually run THE DIAL The clock has a skeleton construction to the movement with three separate enamel dials one which displays the seconds, one for the minutes and one for the hours. The dials are original and all have their original hands
THE MOVEMENT The clock has its original 30 second congreve track to the bottom which works freely and easily and the ball bearing runs all the way down it flicks the track the other way as it gets to the bottom and runs all the way down the other direction and so on, as you can see in the video above
Everything to the clock is totally original with nothing been messed about with and it is a high quality congreve not often seen for sale especially in such a large size like this one. There are plenty of chinese reproductions out there which are of poor quality but this one is superb being English
The clock is in good working order with the single fusee movement and it all works fine. This has been going beautifully on my desk for the last 4 weeks and i will be very very sad to see it go. The bottom track turns over the seconds dial every 30 seconds This clock is in full working order but it can be a bit tricky to set up but once you have it will continually run and will keep you mesmerised
MEASUREMENTS The clock has large proportions and measures 19 inches high x 16.5 inches wide x 16.25 inches deep This is a perfect investment clock and a beautiful display piece with the quality being second to none one of the very best congreve skeleton clocks i have seen and one for the serious collection, the clock is of museum quality

All our clocks are tested for a minimum of 1 week before listing onto ebay and working condition is clearly stated above
No matter how well antique clocks have been serviced they will need final adjusting and setting into beat after transport and a professional person is advised and may be required in order to do this so please bear this in mind before bidding
If on the rare occasion you receive a clock that has a problem or does not work after initial set up and adjusting by a professional person then we reserve the right for you to return the mechanism for repair by myself
There will be no refunds if the mechanism needs repair. I reserve the right for the mechanism to be returned to me for repair
I offer a 6 months return to base warranty on all my mechanisms (unless stated not working in description)
In case of a problem after a professional has attempted to set the clock up you can return the mechanism back to me for repair
Please do not take the mechanism to a local clock maker/repairer as this will render the warranty void. All repairs needed to the mechanism will be carried out by myself and not by a 3rd party clock maker/repairer unless agreed by myself beforehand. please contact me in the first instance to arrange return of the mechanism for repair by myself
Shipping the mechanism back to me will be at the buyers cost and i will pay to get the mechanism back to you after repair
All repair costs will be met by myself for 6 months after purchase. If a mechanism is faulty after 6 months then i can offer a repair service for a discounted price but this cost will be met by the buyer if after 6 months of purchase
