Fabulous antique Vion & Baury hand-painted porcelain lady kissing a dove. Please examine the photos, as I have tried to capture all of her exquisite detailing. She is clutching a love letter to her breast. Next to her is a pedestal with an elegant cameo/locket/compact. Measuring 15 1/2" tall, she is in excellent condition. One wing on the dove is chipped. It is hard to notice because the damage is under the lady's fingers. There is no damage whatsoever to her fingers. There is some... wear to the gold paint along the base. This antique (late 1800's) figurine is very rare and spectacular! Marked with the blue oval Vion & Baury button on the bottom. Please email any questions before bidding.
