THE CLOCKThis is a beautiful French 8 day bell striking original Gilt metal and blue Sevres porcelain mantle clock. As you can see the Clock is very beautiful with the finest of details and still retaining its original finish . The clock has stunning patterns and designs. To the top there is a wonderful kneeling Cherub in a shell holding a Snake. This truly is an incredible clock with its handpainted Sevres porcelain panels with cherub and floral scenes giving it that extra edge of di...splay which would look outstanding wherever it’s situated. Comes with its gilt base, pendulum and winding key. Date: 1880’s Height: 15 inches Width: 12 inches Depth: 5 inchesDIALThe dial is matching handpainted Sevres porcelain and convex. On the dial there are bold black Roman numerals & gilt spade hands.MOVEMENTFrench 8 day bell striking movement which strikes on the half and full hour counting the hours.
