This is a very very rare fine fine quality Kieninger twin weight driven vienna precision Regulator dachluhr wall clock. The clock has an amazing display look to it with the 6 glazed panels and beautiful walnut case. A true precision regulator dial really sets the clock off as i am sure you can see in the pictures The clock case has an absolutely beautiful colour and patina to the walnut, the case is in excellent condition with the classic 6 glazed panelled dachluhr design which has a fantastic display look to it
The case has a pitched architectural top and a full length hinged front door, the top has glazed panes on either side through which you can see the working musical movement. The case features a beautiful cushion swan neck pediment to the bottom and has a stunning burr walnut back board An absolutely amazing looking wall clock which will take pride of place in any collection, it is definitely a display clock that will get people talking
THE DIAL The clock has a 7.5 inch engraved silvered true precision regulator dial with its original hands, the dial has a true regulator design with the 3 dials in 1 with the outer Arabic numerals being for the minutes and to the centre you have a seconds dial and a hour dial, the dial is signed by the maker Kieninger, Aldingen. The dial is in excellent condition with no damage
THE MOVEMENT It has an 8 day twin weight driven gong striking precision regulator movement with a dead beat escapement and maintaining power. The movement is very clean and is in full working order keeping good time and striking the gong exactly as it should every half of an hour which can be heard in the video above, comes with its original pendulum, 2 brass weights and a winding key. The movement is signed kieninger

MEASUREMENTS The clock measures 40.5 inches High x 12 inches Wide x 6.25 inches Deep APPROX DATE Circa 1970 This is a perfect investment clock and a beautiful display piece. Looks absolutely fantastic wherever it is displayed and a true talking point of any room. No matter how well antique clocks have been serviced they will need final adjusting and setting into beat after transport and a professional person is advised and may be required in order to do this so please bear this in mind before bidding
If on the rare occasion you receive a clock that has a problem or does not work after initial set up and adjusting by a professional person then we reserve the right for you to return the mechanism for repair by myself
There will be no refunds if the mechanism needs repair. I reserve the right for the mechanism to be returned to me for repair
I offer a 6 months return to base warranty on all my mechanisms (unless stated not working in description)
In case of a problem after a professional has attempted to set the clock up you can return the mechanism back to me for repair
Please do not take the mechanism to a local clock maker/repairer as this will render the warranty void. All repairs needed to the mechanism will be carried out by myself and not by a 3rd party clock maker/repairer unless agreed by myself beforehand. please contact me in the first instance to arrange return of the mechanism for repair by myself
Shipping the mechanism back to me will be at the buyers cost and i will pay to get the mechanism back to you after repair
