An antique Sioux beadwork miniature pipe bag, native used for medicine, paint, or ration tickets. Horses or elk are represented by the stick figures, so that's why I'm thinking a medicine bag. The beads in the bag are small and tightly sewn with sinew in colors of greasy yellow, white heart reds, and various shades of blue. Dimensions are approximately 8 1/2" long with the fringe by over 2" in width. The hide is soft and supple. Please study the photos, as th...ey are the best description of this unique bag. Please take a look at our other interesting listings, including a pair of leggings owned by Forrest Fenn.
