This is an original used pedestal for a Federal Q2 B siren. It has the brake, which works as designed. This is the heavy duty 4-bolt version of the pedestal that was used on the early version of the Q, when they were still made in America! The chrome is in good condition; there is one nick in the chrome on the side of the pedestal near the base. The last photo is a close up of the nick. Please check your siren first before buying! The hole for the brake needs to be on the bottom (...6 o'clock) position on the stator. If you have a newer version of the Q with the brake on the side, this is not the right item for you, although you could potentially remove the brake and use the pedestal without the brake. No returns.
