FABULOUS VERY LARGE c1844 VICTORIAN LADY'S HAND w RING BRASS LETTER PAPER CLIP Hello, thank you for having a look at our auctions. Up for auction with No Reserve is a FABULOUS VERY LARGE c1844 VICTORIAN LADY'S HAND w RING BRASS LETTER PAPER CLIP. I have sold many Victorian and Antique Paper Clips over the last couple of decades and I can tell you they do not get much better than this ! This is a very large and impressive Figural example depicting a lovely Lady's Hand with Ring and fancy Dress Cuff. The Base of the Clip is also quite fancy with the name J & B Ratcliff Patentee Birmingham and there is a Diamond shape Registry mark on the cuff for 1844.
Condition : The Paper Clip or Holder is in excellent condition with nice signs of use and age and the spring is still quite tight. You can also hang it on the wall if you like, perfect for hand towels !
Size : measures 7-3/4 inches long by 3-1/4 inches wide.
