Original Description:
A genuine original antique brass wax jack dating to about 1800. It amazingly still has its original lacquer. Although they are usually catalogued with candlesticks the were actually used to hold a coil of wax taper to melt the wax for letter seals. This one is in completely mint original condition and free from any repairs or damage of any kind. It measures 5.75 inches in height and the base is 2.75 inches in diameter.
