For sale is this original antique post-mounted mailbox that is handmade out of thick copper. It is not a modern reproduction. The mailbox has dings and bends as you can see in the photos. It is made on a wooden board base. It measures approximately 20" in length x 6 1/4" wide and 8" tall. The door has a crimped edge. It closes, but not squarely as you can see. It might could be adjusted on the wooden base so that it closes better. Check out the... photos and see what you think. There is a tiny smudge of white paint on the flag side that would probably come off, I haven't tried. There is also a small hole on that same side - it looks like the maker tried to put a copper rivet in it to try to cover it.
