Here is a FANTASTIC TINTYPE IN GUTTA PERCHA CASE showing 2 INDIAN MEN posing in a STUDIO SHOT---the one on the right has a POSSIBLE BADGE---something on his chest. It is circa 1860-80s. Underneath the photo in the case is a TAG IDENTIFYING THE MEN---in old pencil it reads WHITE BUFFALO SITTING LITTLE RIVER? ARAPAHOS. The tintype is roughly 3 1/4" by 2 1/2", inset in a GOLD COLORED METAL CASE with GLASS ...FRONT inset into a GUTTA PERCHA CASE. OVERALL A VERY RARE IMAGE!! The photos show some VIEWS WITHOUT FLASH and others WITH FLASH. The picture image is between the 2 views shown. *********The OSTLIE ARCHIVES watermark is NOT ON THE CARD----I have been having a number of people copy the images*********** It is in GOOD to VERY GOOD CONDITION with wear, smudging/scuffing---------SEE THE SCANS.
