This a very beautiful 1880 Hand Crank Antique Willcox Gibbs that I have Restored, S/N A 348096. All old paint was removed and was repainted black and after new decals where put on it was sprayed with Automotive clear coat paint to seal and protect the new decals. It sews a good stitch and works easy. The decals where made to the original specification for the Willcox Gibbs machines. All parts where clean and the Nickel plated parts where polished to a good shine. The wood base is solid... Oak wood and a Red Mahogany finish on it with Oak paw like feet. Question welcome. #551The thread holder arm was weld repaired it look good and works as it should. The cloth plate had a dent in it and I cleared it as best as I could, it look good also.
I want to thank all of you that have bought machines from me in the last 10 years, I plan to stop after the next two machine. Most all I have done have been sign and dated with the number of machines done on the bottom of the machine base. This is number 551 restored. Thanks, Eddie Greenwood
