Original Description:

A very charming 1/4 Plate Daguerreotype (silver-coated copper plate mirror image) signed J GURNEY/349 BROADWAY on the lower right of the brass mat. Pretty Little Girl. Very good focus and contrast. No scratches, abrasions, or plate dings. Light blue coloring applied to portions of the tablecloth. The Dag has been resealed with Archival Filmoplast tape. It is housed in a good brown book-style leather case with some moderate wear. The original case spine is partially intact. Lovely... brass closure. A beautiful image that measures 3.25 inches by 4.25 inches.
