No dents, dings, chips, cracks or damage except the pencil has a small flaw mark right near the tip that looks like a flaw made during production and the fountain pen has a small shallow indentation at the very end of the body. No personalization or engraving. These are really exceptional for a set of polished solid gold pens. Both have perfect grey jewels and flawless 14kt clips. The fountain pen has a flawless 14kt gold nib, converter in it and works perfect. The pencil has lead in it and an eraser under cap and works perfect.
