RARE VINTAGE SOFT HEAD "AIR SPIRIT" EERIE SPECTRE PEZ DISPENSER NO FEET ~ MINT
This Soft Rubber Head "AIR SPIRIT" member of the Eerie Spectre Monster Head Set is one of Six different PEZ Dispensers, an...d is in Excellent Condition, All parts and springs in Perfect working order. No cracks or burns. Rubber Head is made in Hong Kong, Red Stem is US PATENT, 3.8 Series.
Some PEZ collectors may not even know that on most dispensers you'll find that the character head snaps directly onto the uprights of the inner sleeve. On the Softheaded Eerie Spectre Series there’s a “Shuttle”, & the Shuttle snaps onto the uprights and then the rubber head fits on the Shuttle. The idea was to create a Universal type stem. The molds for each have slight differences and the head colors of "Hong Kong" vs "Made in Hong Kong" are significantly different. The face details on all Eerie Spectres are hand-painted and can vary considerably, made in 1978-79. The dispenser is on Patent 3.8 Series USA stem. This was PEZ USA's "Experimental Era." You can see some of the things pointed out in the photos, so examine them closely.If you cannot tell by now, this is one of my MOST Favorite PEZ Dispensers I have enjoyed having so many years as part of my collection, and, I know you will too!
