Undated "A New and Accurate Map of the English Empire in North America", Mounted and Framed, 2nd line reads "Representing their Rightful Claim as confirm'd by Charters and the formal Surrender of their INDIAN FRIENDS likewise the Encroachments of the French with the several Forts they have unjuftly erected therein By a Society of Anti-Gallicans. I have no way of knowing the date or provenance of map or whether it's authentic or a repro. There's no dating evident, no signatu...re of cartographer. Map has been separated at folds and whole has been mounted on burlap backing, matted and framed with plexiglass front. Plexiglass has some surface scratches. Map measures approximately 19" long x 17" wide. Oak wood frame measures 25 1/4 x 19 1/2". Probably was mounted this way to preserve it.
