Original Description:
1940s Eames LCW by Evan Products.Iconic LCW in birch plywood, designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1945 and produced by the molded plywood division of Evans Products Company. Evans Products red decal branding dates the production to c. 1946-7. With all original elements also pointed to an early production date the 5/2/5 screw configuration, zinc screws, single racetrack-shaped rear shock mount, and wedge-shaped insert in the laminated cross-section of the seat support, all pictured. Wi...th an old finish and good patina. In fine structural condition with wear to the finish and to the edges of the legs and dings near front edge of seat, with wear throughout and on shock mounts, consistent with age and use
