This microscope by "Voigtlander Braunschweig" with its' mahagony case is impressed with the makers details and "No. 1222" to the drawertube.There are no cracks or chips to the brass that I can find and the microscope has retained most of its' original black lacquering, however, there are the usual scuffs, marks and scratches that you expect from a well used item of this age.The drawtube mechanism slide up and down smoothly and the fine focusing wheel appears to work. There are no crac...ks or chips to the double sided mirror, however, there is a little foxing to the edges.The stage adjustments work well and the condenser moves as it should.The objective turret moves as it should, however, one objective is missing.We are unsure if the microscope functions fully please ask for any further information you may requireThe mahogany case has spare eyepieces and other accessories.The microscope measures approximately, 30 cm (12 inches) tall.
