Up for your consideration is the BEST Miniature Cherokee Basket Ever. This basket was kept in a blanket chest found in East Tennessee. It has a small note that says the basket was made by the Bradley family in Big Cove on the Reservation Cherokee North Carolina. Its in excellent condition being kept in the chest but still has a nice patina from age. The basket was made as a gift for the birth of a child. It is small miniature but made perfect to scale. Ple...ase notice my hands in the photos for scale. It's small and so sweet what a wonderful gift. I had a hard time taking photos of it to show its true size it looked like a larger basket. Those who know Cherokee baskets know that this is a jewel, it was probably made by Nancy Bradley which makes it just a wonderful piece of Rare Southern Folk Art.
