Vintage C1890 " C. Collins " Brass Binocular Microscope

This brass binocular microscope by "C. Collins, 157 Gt. Portland Street, London" has no cracks or chips to the brass that I can find and the microscope, however, there is some tarnishing in places, particulalry to the stage and the one of the drawtubes, there are also the usual scuffs, marks and scratches that you expect from a well used item of this age.The makers details are impressed in to the rear of the base.The drawtubes lide up and down smoothly and the fine focus wheel appear...s to be working.The objective turret turns well and the microscope has two unnmaed objectives.The mirror is free from any cracks or chips.There is a prism present and I have been able to view a focussed image, although, I am unsure if the microscope functions fully.The microscope measures approximately, 38 cm (15 inches) tall and comes in its' original mahogany case.
