This is a great looking desktop Secretary from the late 19th Victorian era..its made of chestnut wood with dovetailed construction on back and features opening doors on front...inside has various compartments to hold documents and papers-the inside of each door also holds paper...it has a drawer on bottom, pen rest and hinged top so you can change the perpetual calendar (all complete with all day/month cards)..it has 1 inkwell (missing 1)and is complete with original key... all in very... good structural shape with no damages -having original old finish and aged mellow patina -no makers name or marks..its 14 x 13 x 11. -looks and displays well and is guaranteed original and authentic .........
