This is an original Italian flag that would be from WW2 or just before. Has the royal Italian crest very heavily embroidered in the center, probably done by hand. beautiful workmanship. Measures about 4 x 6 feet, with gold fringe and ribbon ties. Made of silk, with some of the typical age stains, separations, etc. See photos for condition. Would look great framed. The center back panel has had the heavy embroidered design removed. This with the insig...nia of Rome, with wreath below, and some lettering above, of which some was lost. "COR UNUM-----ANIMA UNA" This section as well as some remnants of the back pannel will also be included. Would look fantastic if framed.
