This is an original Arcade Caterpillar Tractor introduced in 1931 through 1934. This is the 5 5/8" long version in a very strong original blue paint with bright arcade red paint on the road wheels. The Caterpillar comes with the original cast iron nickel plated driver, steering handles, and tractor chains and tracks. This version of the Caterpillar has "TEN" vertically cast into the front of the radiator on both sides of the toy. The toy is also marked with raised letter cast in ..."ARCADE" over "268R' on the underneath of the right side of the toy and "268L" on the underside of the front left side of the tractor. This example has very minimal play wear (about 95%original paint remaining). There is a excellent "ARCADE TOYS" decal under the left front of the tractor under the drive chain, I tried to show this in the images. There are two near mint Caterpillar tractor decals on both sides of the drivers seat. This is a very fine example of this tough to find Blue Caterpillar TEN toy.
