Rare and outstanding mid-century modern floating top L-shaped executive desk designed by George Nelson for Herman Miller. This gorgeous 50's-60's desk appears to be walnut and the grain is wonderful! Legs and hardware are metal, probably aluminum. The credenza offers ample room for storage, with drawers and storage cabinets behind two sliding doors as well as an additional storage cabinet on the end. There is a pull out shelf with an electrical outlet possibly for a typewriter or addin...g machine and an awesome spring loaded hatch on the credenza top to put your trash through to a hidden trash can. There are three more deep drawers on the desk pedestal offering additional storage. The original George Nelson for Herman Miller label is present. Very good condition, does have minimal wear from age and use. Top does have some staining but is very presentable.  NO RESERVE!  Local pick up or buyer to arrange shipping. There are multiple blanket wrap shipping services who can easily handle delivery of this.
