Remarkable 1920-30s Egyptianesque Art Deco Brass Table Box w Ancient Egypt ThemeIn keeping with the 1920-30s Egyptianesque fashion following the discovery of the Tutankhamun tomb, this brass table box has many images associated with ancient Egypt. Rectangular in shape the sides are engraved with depictions of court life, sacrifice, mythological beast and working slaves. The top has a temple gate, pyramids, sphynx, radiant sun with face, gods, and paradise jungle plants. It is lined wi...th cedar and has a simple hasp at the front. It is in excellent vintage condition with no damage or faults to report.
