The overall scope encompassed historical, biblical and mythical perspectives of history. It was printedin Frankfurt by Philipp Heinrich Hutter 1743-59 from plates acquiredfrom Matthäus Merian the Elder's "Theatrum Europaeum". The folio size leaf measures 355 x 205 mm. and contains variouslines of gothic fracture type.... The verso of the principal leafis blank.
