A VINTAGE c1900's FRANK COOPER'S, OXFORD, HOME MADE, SEVILLE MARMALADE, 2lb SIZE STONEWARE JAR OR POT which has been found a few months ago buried in a Victorian rubbish dump a few months ago. Note the strongly printed highly detailed black transfer. The MALING, NEWCASTLE on TYNE made pot measures just over 11cm high by just under 10.5cm in diameter across the lip edge and is in NEAR MINT CONDITION being clean and white with f...ull gloss sheen to the glaze surface plus there are also one or two minor manufacturers kiln blow faults which are only to be expected of these mass produced throwaway pots of the time. On the base underneath are the words MALLING, K, NEWCASTLE. Please note each pot is hand made and has its own individual markings making it unique and different. I am quite happy to combine purchases for buyers to help save on postage and shipping costs.
