A VINTAGE R.T. JACKSON & Co Ltd, 171-172 PICCADILLY, W1, LONDON, JACKSONS CAVIAR ORELLE, TWO HEADED BIRD PICTORIAL STONEWARE JAR or POT from the late c1890s to the early 1900s that has been found buried in a domestic rubbish tip a few months ago. Note the superb crackle glazed effect caused by over 100 years of prolonged burial. The pot measures 8.5cm high by 6cm in diameter across the base edge and is in EXCELLENT CONDITION being clean with no chips, cracks or hairlines, the...re is no residue left inside either.
