ORIGINAL SIGNED 1939 ELMER CROWELL MINI GOLDENEYE FOLK ART DECOY "AS IS" DUCK. This decoy sells as is, as at some point historically the head was broke off and glued on. Obviously, this art piece would be worth the investment of a professional restoration. And I've checked into restoration prices by renowned decoy restorers and it's around $2-400. Once correctly restored, it would not be noticeable. Beautiful original vibrant and detailed paint, original Crowell signature and date and ...other details in his pen. Also the original stamp. This decoy has it all. It will sell with no reserve, as is. Even damaged, this is indeed a rare piece of folk art history by the most renowned carver in American decoy carving.
