VINTAGE JAPAN APLS 1952 CADILLAC FRICTION TIN LITHO W/BOX
Very nice condtion in gray. Box even has the color coded on the front with a gray mark.( SEE PHOTO) Friction works great and has no binding. Over all condtion is very nice nothing is scratched or broken. Tires do have a tiny bit of yellowing, and a bit of fading on the rear red tail lights, Tiny scratches on the chassis. This 11" Alps/ Iwaya 1952 Eldorado convertible has a working differential, a fr...iction motor and working steering.Beautiful bumper, shining emblem, strong interior lithography. Windshield is in excellent shape. My grey 1952 Cadillac by Alps is one of the best tin toys ever made. The box is very attractive and was constructed of strong cardboard with a glued fascia. A small piece is missing at the rear of the car on the box.
Have you heard of a “Wadillac” version? Look at the front emblem. After the General Motors legal types sternly pointed out to the company that they had no license to produce this toy, The "W" badge reflecting the change. thats why this is so quite scare today.
