Description: Up for auction with no reserve this week is an impressive pair of guaranteed authentic 19th century blue and white porcelain bowls with beautiful drawings of dragon and phoenix. Mark "Nei Fu" (Inner Court) on bottom of each bowl. One howl has Phoenix and Buddhist scrolls drawing, which was designed for a female Imperial person.The other has a Dragon hidden among clouds and fish drawing, depicting the story of a fish turning into a dragon, which was designed for a... male Imperial person.
Dimension: diameter of each bowl is 12 cm.
Condition: The bowl with Dragon has a V-shape hairline which is very faint. The bowl with Pheonix has a kiln fault on the rim. Please see pictures. Other than that they are pristine, no restorations, no repairs of any kind. They display beautifully as a pair!
