VINTAGE THREE SAINSBURY'S, LONDON, POTTED MEATS & BLOATER PASTE POTS or JARS from the early 1900's that have been found buried in a domestic rubbish/ash tip a few months ago. The pots measure from left to right 4cm, 7.5cm and 6.5cm high, they are all in GOOD FAIR CONDITION being clean with no cracks or hairlines, there is no residue left inside either. Note the attractive glaze cracking caused by over 100 years of prolonged burial and some tarnish stainin...g which is quite normal for pots of this type and age. There is a flake on the lip edge the Bloater paste pot and at the rear a bruise that cannot be seen from the front when the pot is on display. On the larger Sainsbury's pot in the middle there are two flakes on the base edge. I am quite happy happy to combine purchases for buyers to help save money on postage and shipping costs etc.
