A VINTAGE J. SAINSBURY, BLOATER PASTE, CERAMIC POT or JAR from the c1890's to the early 1900's period that has been found buried in a domestic rubbish ash / tip a few months ago. The pot or jar measures just under 6cm high by 5cm in diameter across the base edge. It is in GOOD FAIR CONDITION being clean with no chips, there is no residue left inside either, there is some wear to the base edge and fine glaze stress hairlines as pictured above. The glaze cracking is stable... and has been present for many years it has been caused by prolonged burial underground of over 100 years. I am quite happy to combine purchases for buyers to help save money on postage and shipping costs.
