A VINTAGE J. H. BLUNT & SONS, NORTHAMPTON & COVENTRY, BLUNT'S TOOTHPASTE POTLID + BASE POT from the c1900s that has been found buried in a domestic rubbish tip a few months ago. The pot lid measures just under 7.5cm in diameter by 3.5cm high when on the base pot. The lid is in GOOD CONDITION being clean with no chips, cracks or hairlines, there is an attractive glaze crackling effect which has been caused by over 100 years of prolonged burial. It can be easily removed with hous...e hold cleaning chemicals if the purchaser requires. The base pot is white and clean but has a chip on the inner flange and some wear to the outer flange edge. I am quite happy to combine purchases for buyers to help save money on postage or shipping costs.
