A VINTAGE RARE, BULLOUGH, CONFECTIONER, BRADSHAWGATE, BOLTON, HOME MADE CALVES FEET INVALID JELLY POT JAR that dates back to the very c1890's. Note the strongly printed highly detailed black transfer and the attractive crackle glazed effect which has been caused by over 100 years of prolonged burial. The pot measures 7cm high by just 7.5cm in diameter across the top, it is in GOOD FAIR CONDITION being clean with full gloss sheen to the glaze surface,... there is a flake and a knock on the lip edge which has lead to a hairline / crack as pictured above, itis perfectly stable and has been present for many years. The pot is fairly solid when rapped with the knuckles. There are also some small manufacturers kiln blow faults and age related marks which are only to be expected of these mass produced throwaway pots of the time.
