Nickle framed glasses with thick glass lenses with radioactive material sandwiched in between the glass.Temple pieces can telescope so they can be adjusted to fit.One cannot see thru the lenses and the idea was the user would wear the glasses for a period of time each day to "cure" various eye aliments.Measures about 1500 cpm against the inside face of the lens.
