Over the past 35 or so years, I have bought and sold more than a few of these beautiful works of art. They are quintessential Art Deco, resembling New York's Chrysler Building. As many of you already know, they come out of Seattle. They were placed in bars with a telephone wire which was hooked up to a central office where operators sat ready to play records paid for and chosen by folks in the bar. They were a miserable failure on location, but have become extre...mely sought after by jukebox collectors as well as Art Deco aficionados. This particular example is the nicest one I have ever seen. I simply polished it up and added a transformer which came from the Shyver Family Estate Sale. It came out amazing after polishing it up. Beautifully conserved, so it looks the way it would have when it left the Shyver Factory. It's striking when lit up, so much better than my iPhone pictures could ever show. This example also has a rare Original Shyver's Bar Bracket which can be left on or removed. All in all, you will never see a better example of a Shyver's Multiphone anywhere.
