Most clocks will be ok and will not need any additional adjustments but please bear in mind this may not be the case. Any clocks returned because of setting up issues or adjustments needed after transit then a fee will be applicable. I have to say this is one of the very finest champleve 4 glass regulator clocks i have ever had the pleasure to offer for sale. It absolutely screams quality and is constructed from thick chunky highest quality bronze and the finest intricate champleve enamel work i have seen The case features a very elaborate four glass regulator table clock design with 4 very thick bevelled glass panels which go all around the case with the side pieces being curved to match the case design. The clock has an amazing display look to it with the ormolu finish to the thick chunky bronze and some of the best intricate champleve enamel decoration i have ever seen
The detail and quality to the whole case is exquisite with an ornate design, to the top there is a large urn with matching champleve decoration and scroll arms. The top platform has some of the most intricate champleve decoration i have seen on a clock with the multi coloured enamel designs being in excellent condition.
The case is in excellent condition for age with all thick bevelled glass panes being in great condition even the superb curved side panes. The case sits on 4 matching chunky thick bronze feet and a lady bust and hoof leg going down either side THE DIAL The clock features a bronze dial with Arabic numerals and original hands, to the centre you have a beautifully pierced brass plate mount and signed by the retailers Elkington & Co Ltd Paris who also had a showroom in London. The dial is in excellent condition for age with a beautiful clean finish with only a small age mark around the number 9 and sits in a matching champleve enamel bezel THE MOVEMENT The movement is also of high quality being an 8 day French gong striking movement with a dead beat anchor escapement which strikes the gong on the half and full hours counting the hours on the hour. The movement is in full working order keeping time and striking when it should, the movement comes with its original french regulator pendulum with matching champleve enamel decoration and a new winding key The movement is signed with the makers medal stamp Samuel marti

MEASUREMENTS The clock measures 18 inches high x 13 inches wide x 6.5 Inches deep APPROX DATE Circa 1870 This is a perfect investment clock and a beautiful display piece. All our clocks are tested for a minimum of 1 week before listing onto ebay and working condition is clearly stated above
No matter how well antique clocks have been serviced they will need final adjusting and setting into beat after transport and a professional person is advised and may be required in order to do this so please bear this in mind before bidding
If on the rare occasion you receive a clock that has a problem or does not work after initial set up and adjusting by a professional person then we reserve the right for you to return the mechanism for repair by myself
There will be no refunds if the mechanism needs repair. I reserve the right for the mechanism to be returned to me for repair
I offer a 6 months return to base warranty on all my mechanisms (unless stated not working in description)
In case of a problem after a professional has attempted to set the clock up you can return the mechanism back to me for repair
Please do not take the mechanism to a local clock maker/repairer as this will render the warranty void. All repairs needed to the mechanism will be carried out by myself and not by a 3rd party clock maker/repairer unless agreed by myself beforehand. please contact me in the first instance to arrange return of the mechanism for repair by myself
Shipping the mechanism back to me will be at the buyers cost and i will pay to get the mechanism back to you after repair
All repair costs will be met by myself for 6 months after purchase. If a mechanism is faulty after 6 months then i can offer a repair service for a discounted price but this cost will be met by the buyer if after 6 months of purchase
