An early folding pocket Microscope / Withering Type Microscope in hinged wooden case, circa 1800. The microscope is hinge-mounted and goes to the upright position as the case is opened. Condition reflects its age as shown in the photos. The third pin that supports the stage is missing and there is a little damage to the back of the wooden stage as shown in the photos.
