PLEASE NOTE: I have re-started this auction after discovering a repair to an area of this pot lid.
Offered for sale is a tiny pot lid from W. BOWEN & Co / CHEMISTS / MELBOURNE.
I am not familiar with these examples and the only reference i could find was an example on a tallish base with MADE IN ENGLAND underneath (suggesting they are later in date than typical pot lid types?).
The lid displays extremely well, but has had a high quality repair to a small section of the fla...nge and onto the face around the W.B of W.BOWEN.
It is 1.5 inches across.
