Fine 13th Century Gujarati Jain Illuminated Manuscript Painting - KalpasutraThis is a fine illuminated Jain Kalpasutra manuscript painting, c.13th century. I acquired it at the renowned Chemould gallery in Delhi in 1971. It is in very good condition for its age, with intact gold, red and blue paint. There are some tears in the paper, but no gaps in the image. The page measures 9¾” x 4¼” (sight) in a 15” x 10¾” frame .
